Your food diary, saved foods, goals, and weight entries are stored on your device and backed up to a server operated by the developer so a reinstall can restore your data. This data is used for nothing else.
When you use the AI meal scan, the photos you choose are sent to our server and passed to an AI processing service (Google's Gemini API) to identify the food. Photos are processed transiently and are not stored by us after the scan completes.
Barcodes and food names are looked up against public nutrition databases (Open Food Facts and USDA FoodData Central). Only the barcode or search text is sent, never your identity.
With your permission, the app reads weight from Apple Health and can write nutrition to it. Health data never leaves your device except into your own backup described above.
If you choose to sign up for updates, your email address is stored with our email provider (Brevo) and used only for occasional product emails. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Delete the app to remove on-device data. To have your backup and email removed, contact us and we will delete them.
